Welcome Week
Welcome Week is a six-day, on-campus experience prior to the start of the fall semester, required of all first-year students. This new program is designed to complement the Freshman Orientation experience, and provide opportunities to enhance academic and personal success for first-year students. If you are a freshman in the Class of 2012, you will receive more information about Welcome Week in the mail, as well as orientation and college specific information, in the coming months. 4/29/08 – May Career Update newsletter now online The Career Update, from the Career Center for Science and Engineering (CCSE), is a monthly newsletter designed to keep you informed of all career-related information and events. 4/17/08 – Automotive industry internships in England for Summer 08 The Institute of Technology was recently notified of several paid internship openings at Rolls-Royce Motorcars in Chichester, England and Mini-Cooper in Oxford, England. These positions would start in summer 2008 and continue for six months. 4/17/08 – Goodrich Company Presentation The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is hosting a Goodrich Company Presentation on Thursday, April 17, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Mechanical Engineering Building, Room 1130.
