Dean's list

The dean’s list honors IT undergraduates who achieve a GPA of 3.67 or higher. (Students must complete at least 12 credits on an A-F basis to be eligible.) The current list is posted outside both 105 Walter Library and 105 Lind Hall.

Outstanding Student Service Award

Presented each year to a graduating senior for academic achievements and outstanding student service to the University and the greater community.

Student commencement speaker

Each year a graduating senior is selected to present an honorary commencement address. Selection is based on both academic achievements and a nomination essay.

John Bowers Award for Excellence in Teaching Assistance

This award honors an outstanding teaching assistant who has demonstrated exceptional interest and commitment to the teaching of IT students.

President's Student Leadership and Service Award

This award recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding student leaders at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. On behalf of the president of the University, it is presented annually to approximately one-half of one percent of the student body for exceptional leadership and service to the University and the surrounding community.
