Dinner with the Dean

The annual Dinner with the Dean, sponsored by the Institute of Technology Parents Organization, is a unique opportunity to become involved in your child's education. To give you greater scheduling flexibility, ITPO offers you a choice of two dates for the event.

The evening begins with a reception and dinner, followed by a presentation that discusses current events and initiatives at the Institute of Technology. You will then have an opportunity to ask questions of a panel of IT faculty, staff, a corporate representative—the people who are guiding your child's education and setting policies in IT. Students are welcome to attend with their parents. The cost is $25 per person. Suggested dress is business casual.

The IT Parents Organization was formed in 1993 to respond to the concerns of parents of IT students. Our goals are to assist the dean in improving the education of IT students and to help students, parents, and future students understand the IT/U of M experience.
