Costs and Naming Opportunities

Plans for the renovation of Lind Hall are still in the early stages and initial cost estimates have not yet been set. Costs are still being determined for important infrastructure improvements such as upgrading the building to meet fire codes, accessibility requirements, and historical preservation mandates. Total projected costs for the renovation of the first floor of Lind Hall are expected to be about $7 million.

The funds needed for the renovation will come entirely from private donations as there is no state support for this project.

There will be a variety of naming opportunities, including the following:

Institute of Technology Student Welcome Center;
Welcome Center reception area;
Student Services area;
Student Advising area;
Student lounge;
Main entrance rotunda area;
Coffee bar;
Conference rooms;
Individual meeting spaces and offices;
and more
