Alumni Field Trip to Santa Fe
We are delighted to present the first University of Minnesota Institute of Technology field trip, September 18–21, 2008, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Join other Institute of Technology alumni and guests for an insider’s tour of historic Spanish and Indian sites of Santa Fe and northern New Mexico—be entertained, educated, wined, and dined. The field trip will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 18 with a cocktail reception in the Terraza Room of the historic hotel, La Fonda on the Plaza, where a block of rooms has been reserved for the Institute of Technology group. Volunteers Needed for Class of 1959 Reunion
Planning will begin soon for a 50-Year Reunion Celebration for the Institute of Technology Class of 1959 to be held May 7-8, 2009.
More than 50 alumni of the Institute of Technology’s Class of 1958 attended a 50-year reunion celebration this past May. The two-day event, which included department tours, Dean’s reception, and picnic, culminated at commencement exercises on May 9, when members of the class of 1958 led the procession of 2008 Institute of Technology graduates. Photos of the celebration are now posted.
